Just when I thought....

Just when I thought that life was starting to calm down a bit, life threw another ball in my direction! We have been so blessed to have non-stop company the past few months. First, my little sister Molly came for a week. Then on top of her here, my mom joined the fun. Then 2 days after my mom arrived, my dad, and cousin Josh and his wife and 2 kids arrived. We all spent the 4th of July together, and it was amazing. For me, it's a toss up between Christmas and the 4th on being my favorite holiday. It's going to have to be one heck of a Christmas this year to beat the 4th that we had!! We spent the morning playing games, kickball, and had a huge BBQ. In the late afternoon, we went to the beach, and when the sun started to set, we lit firework on the Gulf of Mexico. The kids loved it! ... well, so did the adults :) ... We then had front row seats to the huge firework show that was put on by our city. We had the show in front of us, and the waves behind us. It was truely an unforgettable July 4th. My dad, cousin, and his family left on the 5th, and my mom and sister stayed an extra week. It was so nice to spend much needed time with some of my family.

5 days after my mom and sister left, 2 of my best friends came for a week. It was so much fun!!!! We got amazing tans, sang kareoke, spend all day on a boat, shopped, and did SO much more! Not to mention, they spoiled the crap out of the boys! Then, 3 days after my girlfriends left, Jon and I's best friends of 10 years flew in with their 2 beautiful kids. We had not seen them in a year, so trying to make up for all the lost time was a blast. While they were here, Jon decided that all of our "boat buying" conversations were going to be stopped. He decided that a boat would be a great fit for our family, and so we did it! We finally bought a boat after a year of living in Florida, and being on the water. We are so excited about our new addition, and Ty and Bryce LOVE being on the water. Now, we just have to learn! haha

We have had our home to ourselves for almost 2 weeks now, and it has been nice to get things back to normal. Right when I feel like I can take a deep breathe, and blow out, I realize what the next 2 weeks have in store for us!

I signed Ty up for his first season of soccer, and I also became the Coach of his team, The Stingrays. Our first practice was yesterday, and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing! Jon was there, and that was a blessing! I have 8 kiddos, ages 3-4. I thought that it would be a lot easier than it was! But, about halfway through practice, I realized as long as I keep them moving, it doesn't matter. The parents made me very nervous. If it was just the kids and I, it would be simple. But, I have all the parents sitting in the bleachers critiquing my every move. Thankfully, I have started friendships with a few of them, so they can help me ease into it! Ty is a pro. He has never played before, and had complete control of the ball, and of his balance. Jon and I were proud parents, and look forward to what the rest of the season has in store for us!

Ty starts school on Monday, and in Florida they do things a little differently. Instead of being called Pre-K, it is called VPK, and the state pays for it. I am still not sure where I want him to go. When we first moved here, I enrolled him a place, and he had a very bad experience with a "bully". I have 3 schools that I am juggling around with, and I have to have a decision made by Friday. I just want what is best for my son. He is so excited regaurdless of what happened to him in the past. :)

The Davis Family will be heading back to our roots in 2 weeks. I am so excited to go home to Colorado! Everyone will finally get to meet my adorable Baby Brycey. He will be 9 months, and that is far to long for people to know how amazing he is! We will be stopping in Dallas, TX for a few days to spend time with Jons family. It will be so nice to see ALL of our families. My best friend Rachel is getting married on the 17th, and I was asked to be the Maid of Honor. Jon was asked to marry them, and it is the greatest honor, and pleasure that we have to be part of their special day. We are looking forward to seeing all of our amazing friends again.

I hope this finds everyone well! Until next week.... :)
